“Huge missed opportunity” if citizens in the North can’t vote for Irish President – Deputy Mac Lochlainn

Sinn Fein thinks it would be a “huge missed opportunity” if citizens in the North aren’t allowed vote for the Presidency here.

The party’s Donegal TD Padraig Mac Lochlainn wants it to happen before the next Presidential election.

The North’s Deputy First Minister is rejecting calls for people north of the border to be able to vote in Irish Presidential elections.

But Deputy Mac Lochlainn thinks they should have a say:
