Hundreds of people near Gortahork have been left without service due to broken phone lines that have yet to be fixed.
This was due to a road traffic collision that occurred a number of days ago on the N56, in which a car smashed into the pole.
Cllr Michael McClafferty has been in touch with Eir to resolve the situation but has been told there is no one on hand.
He says the fact that people in rural Donegal have been abandoned in this way is unacceptable:
