A murder investigation is continuing after a woman and child were killed in an arson attack in County Offaly on Saturday night.
60-year-old Mary Holt and four-year-old Tadhg Farrell died after a fire was started deliberately at a house in Edenderry, while another woman in her 50s was seriously injured.
Gardaí are describing the attack as ‘a reckless, callous, and murderous act’.
