A Letterkenny-based councillor is asking for a rundown of how many staff Donegal County Council has at its disposal to carry out minor roadworks.
Cllr Donal Coyle made the call as he sought an emergency workshop to expedite the carrying out of essential works such as pothole filling, drainage, erection of signage, removal of overhanging branches, and similar projects.
Officials suggested such a workshop be deferred until the funding allocations for Road Maintenance for 2026 are known.
However, Cllr Coyle says this is a more basic issue…………..
