Uisce Éireann is working to return the water supply to customers in Croithlí, Annagaire, Loch an Iúir, Rann na Feirste, and surrounding areas.
This is due to a mechanical issue at the Croithlí Water Treatment Plant, which has resulted in reservoir levels falling.
This is impacting supply to some homes and businesses on Na Rosa Regional Public Water Supply Scheme.
Damien O’Sullivan of Uisce Éireann says they expect supply to return in the afternoon.
