A meeting is to take place on April 29 regarding the establishment of a town team in Rathmullan.
Town teams currently exist across various areas in the county and contribute to projects such as regeneration projects.
Cllr Declan Meehan says that the community in Rathmullan would be taking the next step as part of a wider rural initiative.
