Following an urgent meeting of the North West Cricket Union Grounds Committee, it’s been decided to postpone the opening weekend of fixtures in the Senior Premier League 1 & 2 sections.
Sustained rainfall in the region has left many clubs unable to complete essential pitch preparations.
The league have now put back all top flight scheduled games from this weekend, Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th April to Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th September.
