Planned refurbishment works at Buncrana Community Hospital are set to see the number of beds reduced.
The work, which was due to begin in June 2025, is now set to begin later this year and last 18 months.
At a meeting last week, the HSE assured local representatives and concerned parties that bed numbers would remain at 41 after concerns they would be reduced.
Speaking on today’s Greg Hughes show, local Cllr Fionán Bradley confirmed that the number is in fact set to be reduced.
