Graffiti on a war memorial in Strabane is being treated as a sectarian hate crime.
North West Cultural Partnership shared on social media that they were disappointed to see the monument, under their War and Peace project, spray-painted.
Police say they received a report yesterday of criminal damage on the Derry Road, which they believe happened sometime overnight.
Anyone with information is asked to come forward.
