A security alert in Omagh in County Tyrone is over and has been declared an elaborate hoax.
A suspicious device was found in the Culmore Park area just before 11 o’clock yesterday morning.
Officers attended the scene along with Ammunition Technical Officers who examined the object.
It’s has been taken away for further examination.
Cordons have been lifted and those who were evacuated from their homes have been able to return.
