A 100% Redress Party Councillor has again called on the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to urgently introduce an upfront funding mechanism within the Defective Concrete Blocks Grant Scheme.
Councillor Joy Beard says the request has been made repeatedly, she claims, without any meaningful progress to date.
It’s understood that in a recent meeting in Donegal with Housing Minister James Browne, she was told that such a mechanism is not possible.
