
A West Tyrone MLA has raised the issue of parents having to travel significant distances to access Specialist Educational Needs provision for children during a meeting of the Stormont Assembly this week.
Sinn Féin’s Declan McAleer said this was disruptive to young people in a question to Education Minister Paul Givan.
Mr Given said he has put a plan before the Executive Office to remedy this.
