Countdown on for 2026 O’Neills Foyle Cup

The draws have been made and the official launch has taken place so the countdown is very much on for the 2026 O’Neills Foyle Cup.

This years event will be the biggest Foyle Cup in history of the competition with over 1,000 teams competing which will see almost 4,000 fixtures being played not just in Derry but across the north west.

Over the six days of action the economic impact for the region is around 8 million pounds.

Teams from Ireland, Britain, Europe, North America and beyond  are preparing to descend on the region next month.

Event organiser Philip Devlin says it is a huge challenge for the team but is proud of how the Foyle Cup has grown:
