Friends of the Earth Letterkenny has begun a series of engagements with local political representatives, raising awareness for environmental issues.
The group helps the work of Friends of the Earth Ireland on a local level in the Letterkenny-Milford Municipal District.
The first of these meetings was with Sinn Féin representatives Cllr Gerry McMonagle and Deputy Padraig Mac Lochlainn, who discussed public transport issues in Letterkenny, such as the need for the long-awaited Letterkenny Town Bus Plan and a rail feasibility study from Derry.
