Donegal has received funding as part of the 2026 Childminding Development Grant.
9 childminders in the county will receive €1,000 each as part of the scheme which aims to supports childminders to purchase toys, childcare equipment, safety equipment, inclusion equipment and materials related to the arts and STEM.
The money has been allocated by Minister for Children Norma Foley, as part of a national grant package of €422,000.
