
Donegal County Council’s Tourism Section is launching an Armada Trail this afternoon, highlighting the county’s links with the Spanish Armada.
The trail is focussed on four areas – Killybegs, Rosbeg Pier, the Inishowen Maritime Museum and Kinnegoe Bay.
Also today, the Spanish Naval vessel OPV Centinela will dock in Killybegs ahead of Spanish Armada Ireland’s 17th annual Remembering the Armada weekend in Sligo.
