There are fears among older homeowners living in defective concrete homes that remediation work may not be completed in their lifetime.
Cllr Joy Beard says the concerns were raised at a recent DCB Silver Circle meeting, where several homeowners spoke about their fears of dying before the work is finished.
One homeowner is undergoing cancer treatment and is trying to put their affairs in order.
Another has received an Option 2 determination and is awaiting a technical review, with no indication of how long the process will take.
