Gardai appeal for information following Buncranna assault

Gardai are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Buncranna in which a man sustained  serious facial injuries.
The Derry Journal is reporting today that the incident occurred in the early hours of 27th of December.
At approximately 3.15 am Sunday morning last, a 28 year old man was allegedly attacked in the Park Lane area of Buncranna.
He was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to be treated for serious facial injuries.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses and are asking anyone who was in the area at the time – between 2.45am and 3.15am on the 27th of December or who may have information in relation to this incident to come forward.
