There have been claims the needs of Lifford Community Hospital are being continually ignored despite numerous HIQA reports pointing out that upgrades are needed in various areas.
Cllr Gary Doherty, a Sinn Fein candidate in the forthcoming General Election says while staff are doing the best they can, the failure to carry out improvements may be putting patients’ lives at risk.
