Donegal man wins tug of war medal for Ireland

Donegal man Adrian Lynch won bronze for Ireland at an international tug of war competition in Holland.
Adrian pulled on the Ireland 640kg team on Saturday and beat England to take third place for his country.
Scotland beat Holland to take gold, meaning Holland finished second.
Adrian followed the medal success earlier in the day of another Donegal man, Liam Strain, from Buncrana, after he won gold at the same World Indoor Tug of War championships.
In Friday’s club competition, Donegal man Paul Duffy, from Buncrana, won silver with his Co Louth club St Pat’s in the 560kg category.
