Ireland draw 1-1 with Sweden at Euro 2016

 
 
Ireland and Sweden drew 1 all in this evening’s Euro 2016 clash in Paris.

After dominating the opening-half at the Stade de France, Martin O’Neill’s side deservedly took the lead at the start of the second-half when Wes Hoolahan finished-off a flowing attack by volleying home Seamus Coleman’s cross with a sweep of his right foot.
But that goal sparked the Swedes into life and the Scandinavian side started to dominate proceedings before finally breaking-down the Irish defence in the 71st minute.
Star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic was behind the equaliiser – the striker’s clever low cross forced Ciaran Clark to concede an own-goal.
