Slaughtneil reach Derry Championship final and will face The Loup

Derry Senior Football Championship semi-final result: Slaughtneil 2-09 v 0-09 Ballinderry Shamrocks
Slaughtneil beat Ballinderry Shamrocks in today’s Derry Senior Football Championship semi-final.
They now face The Loup in the final after outscoring Ballinderry 2-09 to 0-09.
Slaughtneil got on the scoreboard first, notching two points for an early lead.
Shane McGuigan then got a goal for Slaughtneil in the 13^th minute, but Ballinderry still had not registered a score.
Some 5,465 fans watched the contest, which was Slaughtneil 1-06 v 0-05 Ballinderry at half-time.
Se McGuigan got Slaughtneil’s second goal and with only five minutes to go, that goal eased Slaughtneil to victory.
