Gardai in Letterkenny are continuing their investigation following an extensive fire in an underground car park in the town.
It’s understood Gardai happened upon the scene at Rosemount lane in the early hours of this morning and contacted the fire service.
The blaze is said to have caused significant damage to up to nine cars.
Residents living in the apartment block above the car park were evacuated and there are no reports of any injuries.
Inspector Goretti Sheridan says they are following all lines of inquiry at this stage and are appealing to witnesses to come forward:
