Donegal boxer is named captain of Team Ireland ahead of World Youth Boxing Championships

Donegal’s Brett McGinty has been appointed Team Captain of Team Ireland ahead of the World Youth Boxing Championships.
The St. Johnston teenager, who boxes out of the Oakleaf Boxing Club in Derry, is flying out this evening to Moscwo for a training camp in advance of the championships.
He previously captained the successful Northern Ireland Youth Commonwealth Games team in Samoa and the Irish team in the European Youth Championships in Russia.
