Concern has been raised that the traffic lights at Castlefinn Bridge and McClays Corner in Stranorlar are operating too slow with claims that they are posing a safety risk to motorists.
The issue is causing severe delays and tailbacks in both areas, particularly at peak times.
It had been proposed that temporary cameras be installed to assess traffic movement and driver behaviour at both locations.
