Michael Naughton happy with team’s character after semi-final win

Donegal ladies manager Michael Naughton said that his team fully deserved to be in the league final, following their comfortable victory over Galway today.
Naughton’s side led by just four points at halftime – but a strong second half display saw the ladies win by 16 points.
After the game, Naughton said he was delighted with the character shown by his team to run away with the game in the second half…

The ladies now face All-Ireland champions Cork in the final, which takes place on the 7th of May – a game full-back Eimear Gallagher said they will be fully focused on.
Speaking to Cathal Mullaney after the game, Gallagher said she knew her side had the performance in them to overcome Galway – but they are fully concentrated on the final in two weeks..
