Mobile phone roaming charges within the European Union will end at midnight tonight.
From tomorrow, EU citizens can make calls within the European Union for the price of a local call, marking the end of excessive roaming bills.
However consumers are advised that when outside the country, data charges will vary between phone companies relative to individual contracts.
