Donegal Deputy Charlie McConalogue is calling on the Health Minister and the HSE to allocate additional resources to its medical card section in order to clear the current backlog of applications.
It was revealed that it is taking up to two months to process information from applicants, a delay the HSE say is a result of staff vacancies.
