A Donegal Deputy has called on the Government to end what he termed its policy of neglect and spin with regard to the Buncrana three school campus.
Last week the prospect of a meeting with Minister Richard Bruton was welcomed with Minister Joe McHugh saying progress was being made on securing a site for the Crana college campus.
However, Deputy Charlie McConalogue says this is simply another attempt from the Government to attempt to spin the lack of progress on the development.
The campus has been on the agenda for over 10 years but the identification of a suitable site is still being deliberated on.
Donegal Deputy Charlie McConalogue says students, teachers, parents and local school management have been left in the frustrating position where they have had to get by on a day to day basis in increasingly unsuitable and cramped accomodation.
Last week, Minister Joe McHugh called for a meeting with Minister Richard Bruton and said progress is being made on securing a site.
However, Deputy McConalogue says he is concerned that this meeting will not take place until Septermber or after, delaying progress further after calls were previously made to Minister Bruton in May.
He has now called on the Minister to facilitate a meeting without delay.
