Barnier says UK must devise a “unique solution” to border issue

The BBC is reporting today that the European Union wants Northern Ireland to have a different Brexit deal to the rest of the UK.
A document, which will be published later by the EU’s Chief negotiator says the UK should take responsibility for finding a “unique solution” so people can work, go to school or get medical treatment on either side of the Irish border.
Mr Barnier says “a lot more substantial work” is needed on the border issue.
