Oisin Merritt and Ireland progress in play offs at World Championships

Donegal man Oisin Merritt and the Ireland Cerebral Palsy team have advanced to the 5th/6th place play off at the IFCPF World Championships in Argentina.
Having beat Spain earlier in the week 7-0, the Irish boys followed that with another exceptional performance beating The Netherlands 5-1.
Merritt, who plays his football with Ballyfofey Utd in the Donegal League, overcame an horrific injury to return to the sport earlier this year.
Ireland will now face the USA in the 5th/6th place playoff on Friday at 430pm Irish time.
