Councillor John Sheamais O’Fearraigh has officially been named as a member of the board of Udarus na Gaealtachta following much drama surrounding his nomination.
At the sitting of Donegal County Council last week Councillor O’Fearraigh won the vote by one.
However, Fianna Fáil Councillors called for a recorded vote following the nomination and sought legal advice.
Councillor O’Fearraigh says he welcomes today’s outcome and looks forward to his new role……………….
