Donegal County Council’s Fire & Emergency Operations Plan is to be sent back to the SPC for additional time to consider.
The move was proposed by the Cathaoirleach of the Inishowen Municipal District Councillor Jack Murray.
The report highlighted a number of issues within Fire Stations throughout the County.
The motion was passed by 10 votes to 9 with Fianna Fáil Councillors abstaining for casting their vote.
