Dublin City Council has granted Croke Park and Aiken Promotions the licence to go ahead with the planned Rolling Stones concert, to take place at the stadium in May.
The application for the fourth Croke Park concert was lodged earlier this year.
This is the first time a fourth concert will be allowed, since the Garth Brooks controversy in 2014.
At the time of the application in February, three concerts had already been announced to take place over the summer; two for Taylor Swift in June, and one for Michael Bublé in July.
Around 60 complaints have been put forward by the Residents surrounding Croke Park, as the extra event will cause around 18 days of disruption, due to rehearsals and construction works.
Tickets for the show will go on sale on March 23rd at 9am, and this will be the first time since 2007 that the Rolling Stones will play an Irish show.
