The “We the Citizens” initiative is holding an event in Letterkenny this evening.
The event at the Radisson Hotel is one of seven taking place around the country ahead of a national citizens’ assembly in June.
The agenda at that assembly will be informed by the issues emerging from the seven events, and after the national assembly, a report will be compiled and presented to all the political parties.
Spokesperson Fiach Mc Congaille says they hope to renew democracy by ensuring that all citizens have a chance to contribute to the debate on political reform………….
