Revenue warn of new ‘tax payment’ scam

Revenue has warned of a new ‘tax payment’ scam doing the rounds.
They say a scammer has been phoning people claiming to be from the Revenue – and demanding a tax payment.
The fake Revenue official states that a criminal case is being taken against them in order to receive personal information.
Revenue is advising anyone who experienced this to contact them or the Gardaí.
