Buncrana Town Council is urging the HSE to employ another female doctor at Buncrana Medical Centre.
It’s being claimed that a number of local women have been waiting weeks to get an appointment because they would prefer to discuss their issues with a woman.
Currently there is only one full-time female doctor in Buncrana, with another working two days a week.
Local Cllr Ciaran McLaughlin says it’s an issue that must be addressed…………
