There’s been another twist in the saga of the IDA office in Letterkenny, with the agency now confirming the office will remain open. Three staff will be based there, including the former North West Regional Manager, who now has a national position.
Last week, the government told Deputy Charlie Mc Conalogue that the office would be closed and North West operations would concentrated in Sligo.
He’s now been told that while sanction is being sought to employ a new North West Regional Manager, that person will be based in Sligo, and the Letterkenny office will not deal with local issues.
Deputy Mc Conalogue says that’s not good enough…………
