May to warn MPs against second referendum

British Prime Minister Theresa May’s warning a new Brexit referendum would do “irreparable damage” to the integrity of British politics.
In a speech to the House of Commons today, she will insist it would send a message that democracy doesn’t deliver.
Meanwhile, some British MPs want Parliament to have the meaningful vote on her EU withdrawal deal before their Christmas break.
Labour is threatening to table a motion of no confidence in the Government if it doesn’t happen.
