The Donegal Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre is appealing for more volunteers.
The appeal comes as the centre reports a 35% rise in demand for its services in the first six months of this year. 921 people called the helpline, and 81 new clients have accessed the service between January and June.
Centre Director Sara Donovan says the increase means there is a need for more volunteers, for whom full training will be provided………
