Workshops to be held on Malin Head Visitor Management Plan

 

Public consultation workshops are to be held next week on the Malin Head Visitor Management Plan.
Donegal County Council has confirmed that architects have been appointed to prepare conceptual design and produce a final plan for the visitor management of the area.
Donegal County Council and Fáilte Ireland are currently working with key agencies, business partners and community stakeholders to deliver a visitor management plan for Malin Head.
Its envisaged the plan will build on the unique heritage and culture of the area whilst leveraging its position as the most northerly signature discovery point on the Wild Atlantic Way.
Keys and Monaghan Architects together with Cooney Architects have been appointed to prepare conceptual design and produce a final plan.
People are being invited to attend the public consultation workshops to learn more about how all interested stakeholders can work together to inform the development of Malin Head.
The events will be held each night from 6.45pm – 9pm, beginning Wednesday May 8th at St. Mary’s Community Hall, Carnmalin, Malin Head, Thursday May 9th at McGrory’s Hotel, Culdaff and Tuesday May 14th at The Station Room, Public Services Centre, Carndonagh and Wednesday May 15th at St Patrick’s Parochial Hall, Malin Village
