Urgent Needs Payment available for those affected by this weeks flooding

People impacted by the flooding in South Donegal are being advised that financial assistance is available from the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection.
Donegal County Council says an Urgent Needs Payment to help with the immediate cost of food and clothing can be availed of in the case of an emergency situation.
The local authority has also confirmed that is it continuing to provide support and emergency accommodation for affected households.
