Former councillor Francis Conaghan who now works as Good Relations Officer with the council is coordinating the Border Villages Social Integration Project, which is seeking to promote unity.
Mr Conaghan says large house building projects during the boom times led to fears among the indigeneous populations in border villages, and now, it’s time to ensure that any tensions are removed and communities are fully integrated……………
