Junior Minister Dinny Mc Ginley says this week’s budget is the best that could have been expected in the current circumstances, and he is happy to back it.
Yesterday, community activist and eirigí spokesperson Micheál MacGiolla Easbuig challenged challenged Minister McGinley, to publicly explain his reasons for supporting the budget.

Minister Mc Ginley says capital funding has been maintained for Udaras na Gaeltachta, and supports for the farming community have been improved. He said these measures should help boost the economy in West Donegal.
On the issue of VAT, meanwhile, he doesn’t believe there will be a significant loss of trade to Northern Ireland……….
