Police in Derry are investigating an assault in the Glenshane Road area of the city last night.
Shortly after 9:50pm, it was reported that a man in his 60’s was attacked by an unknown male with a strimmer. He received injuries to his head and hands, and suffered a broken hip after falling during the incident.
Police are urging witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
