Caolan Irwin finished in fifth place in Race 1 of the Superstock 600 event at Oulton Park on Saturday afternoon.
After finishing qualifying in second the Donegal native put on a brave display to finish in fifth just over three seconds behind Eugene McManus who finished in third.
