There’s been a broad welcome to engineering proposals which are aimed at solving the flooding issue at Pearse Gardens and the Ballycolman Estate in Strabane.
The area has been flooded multiple times in recent years, most recently this August when torrential rains once again caused flooding at Pearse Gardens.
West Tyrone MLA Maolíosa McHugh has been calling for a solution to the constant flooding problem in the town for some time – he believes the proposals will hopefully solve the Ballycolman Estate flooding issue for good:
