Man accused of rape on Derry school grounds ordered to stay away from NI

A Derry man has been returned for trial on 20 sex offences following a preliminary hearing at Derry Magistrates Court.
Meanwhile, a court has ordered that a man accused of raping a 15 year old girl in the grounds of a Derry school must stay out of Northern Ireland and remains at an address in Kent.
At a a preliminary enquiry in Derry Magistrate’s Court yesterday, 25 year old Robert Hill of 2, Robert Street in Derry was returned for trial at Derry Crown Court on March 15th.
He faces 20 charges, including attempted rape and sexually touching a child, that were said to have occurred in May and June last year. It was accepted that there was a case to answer and Hill said he did not wish to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage.
Meanwhile, a 20 year old man charged with raping a 15-year-old girl in the grounds of Foyle and Londonderry College last July must keep out of Northern Ireland.
The prohibition was imposed on Adam Titheridge of Glenside Gardens, Derry but originally from England.
He denies a charges of aggravated assault and rape, and claims they had consensual sex following a chance meeting. He also claims he believed the girl was 18.
