Mark English retained his 800 metre title in the Irish Nationals.
It was English’s eighth indoor title finishing in a time of 1:49.39 which sets him up for the World Indoor Championships in Belgrade next month.
Elsewhere in the European Masters in Portugal Kathyrn McDevitt of Letterkenny AC claimed gold in the relay event.
