Slight increase in planning permission applications approvals

There was a slight increase in the number of planning permission applications approved for homes in 2021.

Just under 43,000 were granted, up 1.5 per cent on the year before.

Over 26,200 apartments were approved, compared with just over 16,700 houses in 2021.
